Pathankot, June 15: Accused in Kathua gang rape and murder casehas threatened one of the witnesses,claimed JK Police, in an application before court, in Pathankot, on Friday, 15 June.
SSP (Crime Branch) Jammu, Ramesh Kumar Jalla alleged that the witness, whose statement was being recorded, was threatened by the accused, said the Defence lawyer AK Sawhney.
Also, in response to an application moved by the lawyers of thefamily of one of the accused, Tilak Raj, Districtand Sessions Judge Tajwinder Singh ordered the superintendent of the KathuaJail to ensure that the relatives can meet the accused in the prisonimmediately after reaching there and not need to wait.
